Printed Cookies: Yes, They Still Taste Like Cookies

|Alicia Buetter

Let’s clear something up. A cookie can be really pretty and still taste good.

Wild concept, apparently.

At Crafty Cookiers, many of our designs are printed directly onto the icing, which means we can create detailed artwork, logos, photos, patterns, names, illustrations, and designs that would be difficult to recreate by hand.

And no, that does not mean the cookie somehow turns into a piece of edible cardboard.

Promise.

Why printed cookies?

Printing gives us a lot of creative freedom.

Want your company logo on a cookie? Easy.

A personalized camera cookie with an actual photo? Also possible.

A birthday set with names, patterns, illustrations, and tiny details? That’s exactly where printed cookies shine.

It means the design can be incredibly specific while still keeping a clean, polished finish.

They’re especially good for branding

Corporate cookies are one of those things that just make sense.

They’re branded, useful, edible, easy to hand out, and significantly more exciting than another pen with a logo on it.

Printed cookies work especially well for:

  • product launches
  • client gifts
  • conferences
  • employee celebrations
  • grand openings
  • thank-you gifts
  • branded events

Because the artwork is printed, logos and brand details can stay crisp, recognizable, and consistent across the set.

But they’re not just for logos

Printed cookies can be just as personal as they are polished.

Photos, names, birth announcements, party themes, wedding details, illustrations, favourite designs, inside jokes — if there’s an image or idea behind it, there’s probably a way to turn it into a cookie.

That’s part of what makes custom orders so fun.

There’s a big difference between buying cookies for an event and having cookies made specifically for your event.

Perfect for personalized gifts

Printed cookies are also a great option when you want something that feels personal without needing a huge custom order.

A photo cookie, personalized thank-you cookie, custom name cookie, or branded treat can turn a simple gift into something people actually remember.

And then, ideally, eat.

Do printed cookies actually taste good?

Yes.

The design is only one part of the cookie.

At Crafty Cookiers, the goal is always to make something that looks special and tastes worth eating.

The printed detail gives us more flexibility with the visual side, but it doesn’t replace the part that matters most once the photos are taken: the cookie itself.

The best of both worlds

Printed cookies let us get detailed, playful, personal, and sometimes very specific.

They’re ideal when you want a polished look, consistent designs, or something that would be difficult to recreate by hand.

And at the end of the day, they’re still cookies.

Which is kind of the point.

Have a logo, photo, theme, or oddly specific idea you want turned into a cookie? Send us a custom cookie inquiry and let’s make it edible.
